You can not turn into a butch!

My response to how to butch myself up?

1. You have to be one at heart first. Just because your outer appearance screams butch does not make you are true butch.

2. Baggy clothes don't make you butch.

3. There ultimately is no criteria for being butch.

4. You make the clothes the clothes never make you.

5. Your attitude makes you butch.(this should go w/ #4 lol)

6. There is nothing wrong w/ skiny jeans (if you are into that) i read a vlog on youtube about butch/studs wearing skinny jeans and that does not make them butch. B.S. b/c they do make men's skinny jeans.

7. PacSun(polos, cargos, and rainbows) Hot Topic(all the fresh skinny jeans) H&M (love their jeans sometimes expensive but worth it lol) Express for Men (for the grown ups lol)

8. Expensive tastes trying to dress to impress Abercrombie and Holister or J. Crew in the day and Armani Exchange or Banana Republic at night.

NO NO's

1. Stop w/ the basketball shorts when you are out in public that is so highschool. When you are in your 20s and up and i see you out and about w/ basketball shorts i will scream. Jean shorts and plaid shorts or cargos. Old Navy is your friend lol.

2. Du-rags and bandanas do not make you a tough butch. STOP please.

3. I do not want to see your boxers at all. They do make non-girly belts and really masculine belt buckles now and days discover them and use them.

4. Oversize clothing is never attractive. Try fitted clothing it is more pleasing to the eye. If you are skinny and rather petite you can go up a few sizes but when your shorts start to look like pants and shirts becomes dresses that is a sign, so follow it and until it says Fashion Police and think again.

5. Keep up w/ your hygiene please. Just b/c you are masculine does not mean you are a man maybe at heart (for some) but you still need to maintain that suitable hygiene of a woman. Shaving please a must you do end up smelling really bad(trust i did not shave for a year under the pits after reading a book and found out she did not shave it is horrible and embarrasing). Haircuts make them your own stop following the new trend as long as you are well kept it does not matter. Cologne and deodorant sprays if a person can smell you a mile away it is not cool at all.

I have a lot more in my head but there is not enough time in the world lol.

All in all discover your personal style and your body is your canvas. I want to know who you are not what you think you should be or what society says you should be. Be who you are and nothing else really matters. : )
