copy and paste this link and make a donation today. We've got a deadline of one more day to raise enough money. A $200,000 dollar goal. We can't let the anti-LGBT community decide our futures for us. Here's a copy of two emails that've been sent out.

Dear _____
We're in one of the most critical moments for LGBT equality of our lifetimes.
More pro-equality lawmakers than ever before. Marriage equality victories in Vermont, Maine and New Hampshire. A fully inclusive ENDA now in the Senate. The Matthew Shepard Act finally headed to the president's desk. DOMA under fire.
Together we've spent years laying the groundwork for the unprecedented momentum we're seeing this year. But this moment won't last forever. With some lawmakers pushing LGBT equality to the back burner, there's an urgent need to avoid missing a huge opportunity.
So I was surprised when Joe told me that we came up short of our $200,000 goal to make our No Excuses campaign as aggressive as it needs to be. I asked him if I could write you one last time and extend the deadline by just one more day. Can you help us make up the difference today?
And because we know times are tight, we're dropping the minimum membership gift to $20.09 for today ONLY – nearly $15 less than our usual membership level.
Make a membership gift of $20.09 by midnight tonight. We'll send you a FREE static cling HRC sticker as a thank you!
I'm forwarding Joe's earlier email about Rick Santorum in case you missed it. Thanks so much for your support. With your help, we can make it impossible for Congress NOT to act.

Dear _____,
Santorum and his friends know this is our moment – so they're desperate to stall LGBT equality in Congress!
Join online by midnight tonight. This is your FINAL NOTICE for 2009!
Become a member before MIDNIGHT TONIGHT!
Today is the LAST day of our final online membership drive of 2009! Meanwhile, our opponents are building a multi-million dollar war chest to ensure that the stalling in Congress becomes a permanent state of affairs.
In fact, anti-LGBT and possible 2012 Presidential candidate Rick Santorum just penned a desperate appeal for the National Organization for Marriage, saying, "Soon gay marriage, like a grassfire, would spread across America!"
But the kicker was his dire warning: "If we don't act now, DOMA will soon be repealed!"
That's right, DOMA. The infamous Defense of Marriage Act that denies all lesbian and gay couples over 1,000 rights under federal law and allows states to treat legally-married same-sex couples as strangers.
And you know what? If we can count on you to help us reach our goal of $200,000 by midnight tonight, we'll be able to build the momentum we need to repeal this discriminatory law.
Never before has there been such a great opportunity to repeal DOMA. We've collected thousands of personal stories about DOMA's impact on families, which we're now sharing with Congress and the response has been remarkable.
Santorum knows that our moment is now. But he also knows that we can lose our momentum if we let some in Congress push LGBT equality to the back burner.
That's why we're launching our aggressive "No Excuses" campaign to put pressure on Congress.
We've already started to schedule hundreds of in-person meetings between HRC members and their Congress members, but to make this campaign as big and bold as it needs to be, we must raise $200,000 by midnight TONIGHT.
We need you with us.
This is your final notice to join online for 2009 – make a membership gift of $35 by midnight tonight!
Together, we can make it impossible for our elected officials to sideline LGBT equality a second longer. Thank you in advance for becoming a member today.
Warmly,
Joe Solmonese
President
