We can live without certain artists and the whole crank that bullshit and swagg like this shit and whoop that hoe and beat that hoe and bitches and all that buffoonery.
But overall we can not live without Hip Hop! Hip Hop is a billion dollar industry and the Hip Hop Summit on Capitol Hill started by Russell Simmons brings in millions of dollars every year. Do you know how much money has been contributed to charities and helping our nation? Millions all because of Hip Hop, while the government is abusing our good name and steady sucking our economy down the toilet. Hip Hop still lives and thrives. Such artists as Tupac Shakur, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Common Sense, RunDMC, Furious 5, need I go on, has definitely progressed the issue of social change in today's society. So seriously can we live without Hip Hop?

no we cannot live without Hip Hop because Hip Hop was created in order for people to speak out and be heard, but it is sad to see how todays...crap is even considered as Hip Hop.
