Whether it's politics or social issues, speaking our minds is the best gift we are blessed with. I wish I was bigger, I've been the same size since 8th grade(6yrs), weight fluctuation, constant headaches worrying about when my metabolism will finally have enough and decrease exponentially, oh gawd I'll be fat! Anything but fat, so I developed bad habits, drinking but I never vomit so that only fucked up my insides and made me you know fat (gags). So I tried stimulants drug of choice Adderol. Adderol was cool, fucked up all day long without a care in the world, well that's what I told my friends, I just hated the body I was given so pass the pills. My appetite would decrease because I knew if I ate something I would be purging, I was a walking zombie. Decked out in all black because it was the color of my soul, yeah that was my line to get close to the emotionally disturbed knowing they were always fully loaded. Preying on others emotions just to feed my hunger to be perfect, it's whatever I don't give a fuck pass the pills. Black in fact did cover me, I blended in until people saw me, pure ugliness could not be covered. I guess you can say that was the beginning of my path to destruction, ugliness grew bigger and bigger, judgement day was everyday.

I liked the attention from the chicks who envied the body that I had, always coming up to me trying to chill to get the secrets to be perfect. I didn't know shit from nothing either so I was no help, but it was good while it lasted. I just wish I was bigger, the magazines don't help with their firm slender bodies and ripped hardcore abs. That's what the ladies are into, if you are 5'0 and just fit like me, covered in ugliness that's far from good enough. You have to look apart of the protector and provider, an oompaloompa can't help during rough times she assumes. Indulging in nice threads to cover up worked in high school but in the real world it doesn't fly that easily.

I'm tired of being the doormat because I am not big enough. I've tried so hard to kick my bad habits, but developed an eating disorder, binge eater because my jeans no longer fit around my waist without a belt. I've tried muscle enhancers, but they make you moody and increase your heart rate, who cares as long as I am big enough. I can digress in my sleep yeah when I'm peeled over in the gym dehydrated maybe the next time I won't be so lucky, but I'll take that chance for the right combination of muscle definition.

I can take the jokes and being thrown around they are motivators to my anger and hatred just to take out at on the bag. But if you hit the bag and the bag hits back that's where the true anger lies. Why can't I be bigger? Frustration has damn near killed my soul once, I am feeling as if I will reach my breaking point again. I tried to increase my protein intake and then hit the gym, I still couldn't lift the bar, so I punched the wall as hard as I could scaring the shit out of muscle heads. It's really not fair why can't I be big like you? What have I truly done wrong to not have the body I deserve and will cherish as my personal temple.

If there was some sinister deal I can come up with between me and the devil, I would in a heartbeat. I can't feed my envy and greed for perfection alone, why not give up something I could careless about, I just want that body so I can be happy. I wouldn't desire happiness from others but know what true happiness is like from within. I wish I was Shrek, I could careless that he was an ogre and smelled horribly bad, he was big and got the woman of his dreams. But fairy tales aren't real and I'm foolish enough to believe them, but it would be so cool to be Shrek. He stood firm without a care in the world, intimidated everyone, he just focused on being the protector and provider for his family. What a lucky bastard he was, what do I have to do to trade lives with him.

There is this story of a lady who tried to find the love within but desired the love of others so she could be at peace and happy. She would write letters to herself pretending as if she had the love of others. Her neighbors never questioned her activities until she drove herself crazy in order to fill a void in her heart, she died alone. I desire to be comfortable in my own skin, but in the back of my head, I still wish I was bigger. I think I will too drive myself crazy trying to be bigger but I wish I was, I have the drive and ambition but no results. My biggest fear is to die alone but bigger is better so why not have not have better.

Why can't we make fun of religion?

We can make fun of ones ethnicity, cultural background, age, disabilities, looks, skin color and the list goes on but as soon as someone makes religious satire it's penalized and everyone gets all mad and shit. I forgot the only rule is when it comes to atheists and agnostics they can be made fun of they have no souls, right?!

I find it also amusing that after 9/11 all these Catholics and Christians acting all holier than thou bashing Islam and publicizing bigotry towards Muslims. Steve Harvey had a sketch Still Trippin', I watched it I thought the first sketch was funny so I decided to tune in for the second special. It wasn't funny at all, he was basically like those damn Muslims being terrorists and amen then everyone starts laughing, like where is the punchline? It's like when racists say a socially offensive joke at least make it funny. "You niggers" haha like what the fuck? He was one of my favorite comics too until I saw that crap, him running across the stage making jokes about Muslims for Jesus(and I am pretty sure Jesus did not condone his behavior). I have even heard Christians do Jew jokes especially after that whole Mel Gibson saga, but to do a joke about Catholics and Christians, it's a "sin". I'm not all for Bill Maher because he is an annoying nutcase, but I will laugh my butt off at Carlos Mencia, Ralphie May, George Carlin and their approach to religious satire. Carlos Mencia is a Catholic and he can take a joke but no everyone wants to be a fundamentalists when the tables are turned on them, can we say hypocrites?

Wilde talks about the upper class downfall, aristrocracy, gender roles, relationships issues, conversations that would have never been spoken about publicly. But Wilde turns British Comedy upside down, now satirical comedy has been re-invented and revolutionized, with leaders like Sasha Baron Cohen and Rowan Atkinson(Mr. Bean), Stephen Colbert, Matt Groening, in the spotlight tickling our funny bones with their play on social, political and even religious satire. Some wish to be straight edges and label their work as "controversial" but whatever happened to laughing at ourselves?

Calling someone an Uncle Tom and sell out only makes you look dumb not the person you constantly waving your finger towards. It's so simple, no one can demean someone without their permission. Acting like a buffoon gives people the okay to help you into that dirtroom quicker. But seriously though do you really think that a person so educated would bow down screaming "All hail whitey!" That's what ignoramus buffoons are already doing with themselves, you will always be the employee never the employer. In Middle School, there was a very bright girl placed in an Exceptional Children class, everyone thought it was a joke because we assumed there was nothing wrong with her because she looked like everyone else. I find it to be completely wrong to pay for people who chose to be fat. Less than 10% of the population have medical reasons for their weight fluctuations concerning obesity but no America is paying for ALL of the obese people for what purpose?

I know people do have eating disorders and I am not trying to be insensitive towards those individuals. I myself am a binge eater I am not overweight but I do have medical issues because of my bad choices and I accept it but I do not ask for handouts from the government to support my bad habits. I am also not proclaiming that all overweight people are unhealthy either, there are a few who still are healthy and do not suffer from medical conditions because of their weight. This blog is about funding the 90% who chose bad habits and wish for the government to pay for them.

So out of our tax dollars millions of dollars are being taken away from people who actually need the money and can not help their medical issues. No one asks for a terminal illness, you chose to be fat and if you have medical issues from that choice you should be exempt from public funding, that is your choice. No one put a gun to your head and said continue to eat McDonald's. It is not America's responsibility to glamorize healthy lifestyles because it is common sense.

Healthy food is too expensive in stores blah blah blah fucking blah, try a Farmer's Market and buy directly from the Farmer. I can't afford to go to gym, I can't get off my fat ass and go, not enough time in the day blah blah blah. Since we are a technology savvy generation I am pretty sure a lot of you have basic cable, record an informational commercial. There are free work outs On Demand on Cable. Stop with these annoying excuses, that's your choice more power to you obviously someone didn't love you and stood beside you and was an enabler and you have to sit there and wait until the Biggest Loser and all these Weight Lost Programs come on television to realize you have an issue.

If you wish to be obese more power to you that's your choice, but don't ask for public funding, go cry to a private insurer or make better choices in life. Private Insurers should get an incentive for funding Geriatric Centers that are popping up like a Fast Food joint. Then you have these retarded Bariatric Commercials every five minutes and I have 3 within a 2mile radius from my house it's just idiotic. All of these places should be privately funded point blank simple, there is no way in hell that Oncology Centers and Childcare's Hospitals will ever get money taken away from them for fat people. How is that even right at all? This should be seriously unconstitutional because you chose to be fat. There needs to be an Amendment in the Health Care Bill about Geriatric/Bariatric Centers. Even if you opt out of public Health Care you are still paying for fat people to be fat. The percentage of fat people has doubled damn near tripled since 1980 and we are going to let this number continuously increase by funding it? I just do not comprehend any of this at all, like seriously how is this legal?

Some say that it is a choice to be a Christian and believe in God, well I never had the luxury of possessing that choice. It is a lot easier to tell my bigoted family members that I am a queer than just say, No I am not a Christian.

Christianity was not a choice for our ancestors, they were forced to believe in the Western Civilization way of thinking. In today's society when it comes to the African American community if you're not a Christian you're at the bottom of the totem pole. Maybe consider Islam or Judaism but to not be a Christian is a sin to religious zealots. Respect thy neighbor goes out the window and you are labeled as a devil worshiper and hell dweller.

It does not matter that our country was founded on Religious Tolerance for all people. We still religiously persecute people who do not believe the same way as ourselves. We bash Muslims and Jews, especially during the 2008 Election we bashed Mormons as well. If we all educated ourselves and accepted the fact that others think differently than you or I, a lot of issues in this world would not even exist.

Everywhere I go and I wish to be around open minded people of color without this bigotry towards one another because of their religion, I have been had enough. Every five minutes trying to pray for someone when their soul is lost and they have no idea why they believe the way they do. Not the radio broadcast from the 1938s trying to scare the fuck out of people. My AP European History teacher had us listen to it and it was complete bullshit to say the least but it scared a lot of people. But I believe in the Stephen Spielberg War of the Worlds and the invasion of robots. I can't stand I-Robot either. Did you know in Japan they have Robots working as customer service representatives? Okay a fellow downelinker asked me what is the deal with FTMs and their need to express their manhood every five minutes. Of course I can only speak for myself and my experiences but I find it amusing to say the least. If you are a man okay what else is there to you that you have to offer? "I'm a man approach me like this and don't call me this..." Am I doing this to purposely draw attention to the fact that is it cool now and days to be a "social outcast". No, I have always felt this way in my heart because I could never find that medium to feed into the gender role nonsense. I was too much of a tomboy as a kid and no man would ever want me when I grew older, is what grown adults would tell me, matter fact they happened to be family. I am too faggish to be considered a man, because no real man sleeps with other men and actually enjoys it without feeling some kind of hatred within.

I have society telling me who I am and what I should be instead of accepting me for who I am and see what I truely have to offer. Judge me based on my demeanor and character and not because I want to burn the ugliness of what gender roles has done to my culture and people as a whole. I must identify, I must I must, but no one has a clear concise reason, why I should oblige with these rules. What difference will this solve? I already will not get protected based on the outdated laws and no job that I have ever applied to concerns themselves with my gender identity but rather my work ethic. It's all about numbers, I do not wish to be either one of your teams because I sincerely feel as if a part of me will die if I sit there and raise my fist and chant, yes I am a woman or yes I am a man.

Why can't I just be proud of being who I am? I know all of this is kind of abstract but to break my soul to be apart of something so called important is so not worth it. A child really does not give a fuck about who his/her parents are, all they want is a home, a room of their own, just something to call their own due to unfortunate circurmstances that they had no control of, what abou their rights? Limiting them to heterosexuals only solves what?

A lot of the people who make up the foster care system are teenagers, a teenager has the mind frame to formulate and educated decision about their own beliefs and values. I know not one person in my life in the foster care system who gives a damn about their parents being homosexual, all they care about is finding a home before they age out of the system or else they either end up in prison, homeless, or die.

Now if you want to get all biblical and morale pushers, my bible is the same as yours and the rights of a child comes before the selfish and ill wills of an adult who believes they have the best interest when all you are doing is pushing agenda. In the Sodom and Gomorrah story, those were rapists and molestors which have been proven by fact that rapists and molestors can either be both homosexuals and heterosexuals. Equal responsibility and one is not greater than the other.

As a child I had a one dimensional outlook towards homosexuals. A homosexual was either a prostitute or filthy rich living in mansions traveling the world whenever they may please. I myself could never be a homosexual because I lived in Housing Projects enriched with poverty. If someone were to tell me that this is bias superficiality and not reality I would tell them that they were full of lies. Middle class homosexuals was non existent to me until I reached highschool even then I seen my peers go back into the closet for cisgender priviledges. Married with 2.5 children, white picket fence, finacial stability and a dog was something I believe could not be obtainable by any minorities yet along a homosexual.

The only person that I know who actually speaks on this important issue is Keith Price of OutQ Radio during his comedy sketches. Keith Price has a scenario where he has a niece who views gay men as rich and frivolous spenders whom travels around the world with no sense of responsibilities. Keith Price one day was approached by his niece and was asked was he a homosexual and he replied "Yes are you mad or ashamed". "No, I am not mad that you are gay I am mad that you could not tell me sooner so I could go shopping for a new doll" replied his niece. Materialism and wanting to have the best is embodied in this community and shoved under the rug. Keeping up with the Joneses is not appropriate in teaching tolerance and the acceptance of others who are no different from themselves.

The L-word does no justice to this either. Noah's Arc happens to be the only show in a while that did not feed into stereotypes based on socioeconomic level and I wonder why the show got cancelled. People will try their hardest to feed into classism and stereotypes rather than feed into positivity that could possibly help someone better there lives.

The documentary Aggressives I liked it but then again I did not like it why in the hell does every butch woman of color have to be from the hood? I know butch women of every socio background that prosper in life and why is this not being seen? Snoop does butch women of color no justice. The closet thing butch women of color have to something positive is Wanda Sykes and she just came out of the closet.

Gay men are filthy rich or they are frivilous spenders who do not believe in monagamy?! Everytime I see that image I want to punch someone. Like Capote had his own little private island and flew his friends from all around the world. Well that completely eliminates the fact that there are gay men that work a 9-5 and the entertainment industry is not the only place to go.

Bisexuals is a bit of a toughy because they don't meet socionormatives when it comes to either heterosexuals or homosexuals. They are being tugged back and forth so it is viewed that they are untrue and liars. The media depicts them as either Tila Tequila or the housewife who was unhappy and looks for comfort in a woman.

Trans usually the MTF as the sex worker because outside of the entertainment industry she has no where to go. Very rarely will you find an employer to feed the needs of someone who is trans on a middle class/lower class level. Even as older trans they have issues because not everyone knows their needs so they have to tell them their needs. Unless they do it for themselves there are seriously few oppurtunities and they are more prone to homelessness.

So this argument came up the other day and here are more two cents.

If my son wants to call me daddy or mama I don't give a fuck and you should not either. I seriously don't know if I will have children but if I do, I will raise my child in a Genderless World! Of course you teach the basics and do not force all of this on to a young child at once, you take baby steps and so forth on. He/She will judge people base on their character and how they choose to carry themselves ONLY!

There will be no rules for boys and girls, you are all equal, End of Story! They will both hold their own weight and will be responsible adults, so when they leave the nest I have instilled the basic tools as a parent should do for their children. The room for Freedom of Expression will not be looked down upon. If my son wants to to be Jewish and wear black every day let him be. If he respects my rules and his parents, what is the issue?

"Oh your child is going to be confused and fucked up" No you moron because you build a foundation before you dare have children that includes parenting classes and making sure you are emotionally and financially stable. Even then shit happens but you don't let that beat you down you keep moving. You can teach your child which way to go and let them on their way.

Silvanus Shannon, 19, Eugene Riley, 18, and Eric Carson, 16, all of Chicago, were charged as adults ordered held without bond, the Tribune reports.

Prosecutors declared Albert an "innocent bystander" in the fight that led to his death.

Chicago police are still investigating the gang fight that erupted Thursday in Roseland that resulted in the death of 16-year-old Fenger High School student Derrion Albert.

Albert was killed in a melee near the school that police believe is a continuation of ongoing tensions between Fenger students that are members of rival gangs.

An amateur video of the brawl shows dozens of people punching, kicking and swinging wooden boards in the street. Albert was struck by blows from one of those boards, Fox Chicago reports, and the video obtained by Fox shows a person getting hit with a board and then stomped on after falling to the ground.

As people rush to help the injured person, a voice can be heard on the video yelling, "Derrion, get up!"

Albert's mom said witnesses told her that her son "trying to help another student and kind of got mixed in with the crowd of the fight and he was hit."

A memorial and march planned for Sunday was rescheduled for Monday at 1 p.m., the Tribune reports.

UPDATE: Police are questioning four people in connection with Albert's death, Fox Chicago reported late Sunday night.

The student who hit Albert with a board is in custody, Fox reports, as police try to figure out why Albert, an honor student whom family and friends said was not involved with a gang, was killed.

Meanwhile, police beefed up security around Fenger Monday as students returned to school the week after the melee that led to Albert's death.

"We want to provide reassurance to the public that there's a police presence and they can feel safe in the neighborhood and kids can feel safe at school," the Tribune quoted Morgan Park District Commander Michael Kuemmeth as saying.
